FREDERICTION EXHIBITION PUBLIC MEETING – THURSDAY MARCH 21 7PM

You are invited to attend this informal town hall style meeting to discuss the direction of the Coliseum & Capital Exhibit Centre Complex.

Our goal is to increase and improve the use of the facility, and it is the people who live here who will be the beneficiaries of the changes. We urge you to come to the meeting to learn about and contribute to what’s happening in 2013. We will have an update on the Coliseum project planning and fund-raising as well as a question & answer opportunity.

Come out and express your opinion how the facility can better benefit you, your family, your organization or your business. You have a say in how we make the facility and the FREX better.  Your voice is important to us.

Canadian Hip Hop Legend “CLASSIFIED” in concert – POSTPONED

Classified Postpones East Coast Dates

 (Toronto, ON Feb 20^th, 2013) The Classified dates scheduled for March 14^th-16^th have been postponed in order to accommodate an additional date in Halifax. The postponed dates will be re-scheduled and announced shortly.

 Classified’s new single, Inner Ninja has gone Platinum and is now holding the #9 position on the Top 40 radio charts, marking an important milestone for Canada’s own east coast Mc and Producer. In light of this Classified would like to do something truly special for his hometown fans and fellow maritimers to celebrate their continued support throughout the years.

New Year’s Eve Party

We have big plans to ring in the New Year at the Exhibition Grounds this month. It will be a big party and we expect the hottest party in town with two very popular local bands. The doors open at 8pm.  Mandy Silk and Overdrive kick the evening off on stage 9pm to 11pm then Cookshack takes us to midnight and beyond, keeping the party going till 2am.

This is going to be a fun evening with a blend of country music and southern rock. The Capital Exhibit Centre will be decorated for the season and will feature our large show stage, a big dance floor, professional sound and lights, quality new year’s hats and noise makers, and of course a huge balloon drop at midnight!

Save $10 and purchase advance tickets for only $30.

Tickets at the door will be $40. Table seating and must be drinking age to attend.
