Capital City Roller Derby
The Capital City Rollers league is Fredericton’s only women’s flat track roller derby and this group of feisty skaters are taking the city by storm. Founded in 2010, the Capital City Rollers promotes the progressive growth and sustainability of women’s flat track roller derby as a competitive sport by implementing a traditional athletic approach. The Capital City Rollers adheres to the principles, guidelines, and regulations of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). This sport is a full contact high speed game played by real women who skate fast and hit hard. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door! October 20th is our FIRST 2012 Home Game! Fredericton’s Daisy Cutters will be taking on the Halifax Roller Derby with a second game beginning directly after featuring Saint John’s Scarlet Swarm and Moncton’s Daughters of Anarchy.
